At Borenos, we often say that food brings people together. But sometimes, it does something even more powerful: it helps leave behind a memory.
That’s exactly what happened during a recent visit to Sabah by the Annur Quranic Centre (Pusat Mengaji An Nur), which provides Quranic learning to underprivileged children. As their journey came to a close, they chose to leave something meaningful behind for the students who had been part of it: a warm, heartfelt gesture wrapped in a box of Borenos.
Feeding the Body, Nourishing the Spirit with Malaysian Fried Chicken
On their final day in Sabah, the team from Annur Quranic Centre placed an order for 77 sets of our 1-piece Chicken Rice Meal to be distributed to their students. For many of the children, it wasn’t just lunch, it was a rare treat. And for the organisers, it was a way to show love, reward resilience, and spread joy through a shared meal.
