Borenos Fried Chicken proudly received the esteemed Consumers’ Choice Award 2024/2025 from the National Consumer Action Council (MTPN) in a ceremony held at the Magellan Grand Ballroom on 20 January 2024.

The recognition came after a meticulous auditing process conducted by MTPN in December 2023. This process ensured that Borenos met the standards set by the council, reflecting the commitment to quality and excellence in their offerings.

Expressing gratitude and joy, Janice Yeo, the Managing Director of Borenos, conveyed her appreciation during the award ceremony. “We are glad to offer fresh, high-quality, yet affordable fried chicken to all Malaysians. When we started 9 years ago, we never imagined that we would be able to excite so many people, not only the locals but also tourists with our fried chickens.”

“Together, we aimed to be the first local fast food brand to be able to expand to the entire state of Malaysia, making it a pride of Sabah,” she continued.
